Kristine D. Gile is a Deaf Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Board-Certified Telemental Health Counselor from Maine. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education from the University of Tulsa and a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College. Kristine is deeply committed to making mental health services accessible and inclusive for all, particularly the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind (D/HOH/DB) communities. She believes in providing a culturally and linguistically safe, therapeutic environment for individuals and their families.
Kristine is currently accepting clients from Florida, Maine, Maryland, and Ohio. New York--coming soon.
EXPERIENCE
With over two decades of experience, Kristine specializes in working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, families, and adults. She is particularly adept at supporting Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-Blind individuals, as well as their families. Kristine's expertise encompasses a wide array of challenges, from depression and anxiety to parenting issues, child behaviors, and trauma.

Kristine is a highly trained clinician, skilled in multiple evidence-based therapies such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Child and Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
