Meet Rachel
(she, her, hers)
Rachel Baroway is a hard-of-hearing, late-deafened graduate student at Gallaudet University, pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Mental Health, set to graduate in May 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, San Marcos (2021), and has been working with the Deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) population since shortly after completing her undergraduate studies.
Rachel’s therapeutic approach integrates mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and narrative therapy, which she believes offers a well-rounded and effective framework for helping clients reach their personal therapy goals. Her clinical focus includes anxiety, OCD, depression, and a special interest in supporting individuals with autism.
With a deep understanding of both mental health and the unique experiences of the DHH community, Rachel is dedicated to creating a compassionate, inclusive space for all her clients.
